This May, we have an opportunity to gather as a community and think about our response to Refugee and Immigration Issues through the lens of faith. We will be looking at the book, "You Welcomed Me: Loving Refugees and Immigrants Because God First Loved Us", by Kent Annan, as a guide for our 6 week interactive class on this hot button issue. We will meet weekly on Sundays, May 12 through June 16, from 11:00am to noon in The Fireside Room, for thoughtful discussion, short videos, guest speakers, and a call and response to our faith. We hope this is a community wide gathering, and can help us get clearer about what God's heart and word call us to. A limited supply of books (15) will be available for the community to read and use for the class, which will be available on Sundays for the next few weeks. For more information please visit our website StPetersPres.org or call the church office at 310.377.6882. Childcare and Nursery Care available. Refreshments provided.
